Preventing and Combating Sexism: Committee of Ministers adopted Recommendation CM/Rec(2019)1

Recalling that sexism is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations between women and men, which leads to discrimination and prevents the full advancement of women in society and that it is widespread and prevalent in all sectors and all societies Committee of Ministers on 27 March 2019 at the 1342nd meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies adopted Recommendation CM/Rec(2019)1 together with the Guidelines and measures for its implementation.
