Press release: Representatives of Slovenian Ministry of Justice visited Montenegro

Representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Justice stayed in Podgorica from 28th to 30th July 2004, as part of their involvement in the project entitled Development of the PR Office of the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, implemented in cooperation with the OSCE Podgorica Office and financial support from the Holland Embassy in Belgrade.
Rok Janez Steblaja, Head of the International Cooperation Department and Franc Stanovnik, PR Officer of the Slovenian Ministry of Justice, met with Assistant Minister of Justice Branko Lakocvic to discuss forms of international cooperation and modern PR methods.
Representatives of the Slovenian ministry also met with Assistant Minister of International Relations and European Integration Dragan Djurovic who acquainted them with the ministrys plans and specific ongoing projects. On that occasion, it was agreed for the International Cooperation Office of the Slovenian Ministry of Justice to provide specific support to certain European integration projects.
In addition, representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Justice had meetings with the Chairman of the Montenegrin Parliamentary Committee for European Integration, Miodrag Vukovic, and Head of the Public Relations Bureau Olivera Djukanovic. On that occasion the two parties discussed the problems of the transition process and reforms and agreed to undertake specific cooperation projects in future.
