Participation in a seminar organized by the Notary Chamber of Montenegro

The Chamber of Notaries of Montenegro organized a two-day educational seminar on October 19 and 20, 2024, which was attended by a significant number of notaries from Montenegro, legal experts and representatives of judicial institutions.

Director of the Real Estate Administration, MSc Marko Bulatović, and Head of the Directorate for Second Instance Administrative Procedure, Mr. Uglješa Bakočević answered the notary's questions related to the registration of real rights before the Real Estate Administration. On the second day, the Deputy President of the Commercial Court of Montenegro, Mr. Vladimir Bulatović answered questions related to the role of a notary under the Law on Business Companies.

The Real Estate Administration pointed out that the Notary Chamber will always have a reliable partner in the Real Estate Administration in all projects aimed at improving the work of both the Notary Chamber and the Real Estate Administration.

Valuable knowledge and experiences were exchanged at the seminar, which are the basis of cooperation between these institutions. Notaries presented their experience in relation to legal security and processes related to the transfer of real estate and emphasized the importance of accurate and updated data on real estate that is under the jurisdiction of the Real Estate Administration, and all of this together contributes to the legal security of citizens in the area of real estate ownership, because legal security is precisely crucial for maintaining trust in the legal system and efficient functioning of institutions.
