Sarajevo: Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic meets with BiH Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic

Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic met Tuesday with Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic.

The two officials agreed on key issues concerning the two countries further development. Both sides welcomed the frequency and quality of contacts between senior government officials of Montenegro and BiH.

Presidency Chairman Komsic underlined that the two countries had identical strategic interests, adding that their mutual understanding was an example of good relations in the region.

He thanked Djukanovic for his constructive role in promoting the sustainability of BiH and consistently emphasizing, in his meetings with world statesmen, the importance of good regional relations as a key to stable development.

The Prime Minister underlined that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH was a key condition for progress in the Western Balkans. Continuation of a dynamic and proactive policy in the region is Montenegros foreign policy priority.

Djukanovic also expressed his belief that this responsible approach was fully supported by the EU and the United States, as confirmed at his meetings with high EU and US officials.

The meeting also addressed the issue of further development of economic and other relations between Montenegro and BiH.
