Abazović and Đurović meet representatives of Adriatic Marinas

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović met with David Margason, Managing Director of Adriatic Marinas and Predrag Leković, Director of Government Affairs at Adriatic Marinas. We are witnessing the best preseason in the history of Porto Montenegro and Montenegro, said PM Abazović.

Margason and Leković informed Prime Minister Abazović and Minister Đurović about current investment activities in the Porto Montenegro resort, ambitions for the next stages of development, positive expectations for the upcoming tourist season, but also about the purchase of a superyacht repair dock at the former Bijela Shipyard.

The meeting discussed possibilities for further improvement of cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and Adriatic Marinas, in order to achieve the set goals through joint action.

We are encouraged by the meeting to work together with the Government and the investor to create synergies and make efforts for initiatives that include ambitious socio-economic development and cooperation in promoting Montenegro through all our joint projects, said Margason.

By opening the dock in Bijela, we are opening new doors for Montenegro. This will additionally brand Montenegro as a recognisable destination on the world tourist map, this time as destination for the overhaul of luxury mega and superyachts, Prime Minister Abazović pointed out.

Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović emphasised that the Government will continue to support development projects aimed at economic strengthening and enhancing tourist offer of Montenegro.

The Government is determined to promote creativity and entrepreneurship in all sectors of the economy, including tourism, Minister Đurovic stressed.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions in an open, positive and stimulating conversation, presented new ideas through public-private cooperation in order to deliver optimal results for the benefit of the citizens of Montenegro.
