Abazović lays wreath at Auschwitz Death Wall

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović laid a wreath at the Auschwitz Death Wall. The Prime Minister is paying a visit to Auschwitz on the occasion of commemorating the 84th anniversary of anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany. Abazović attended the commemorative ceremony at the Auschwitz camp, the former infamous Nazi concentration camp, at the invitation of the European Jewish Association.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, and President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Markéta Pekarová Adamová also attended today's ceremony at Auschwitz.

The delegations also visited the Auschwitz II - Birkenau camp and participated in the memorial ceremony and candle-lighting.

Abazović is the first Prime Minister of Montenegro to officially visit Auschwitz.
