Abazović meets Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti
In the coming period, the governments of the two countries will be committed to the development of infrastructure projects that should improve communication, transport and trade between the two countries and affect their stronger economic development, said Prime Minister Dritan Abazović at the meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The two officials agreed that relations between Montenegro and Kosovo are friendly and based on the principles of mutual trust, good neighbourliness and a common European and Euro-Atlantic perspective.
Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that Montenegro is committed to every type of regional cooperation, which it has proven several times so far, primarily through open dialogue and good neighbourly relations with all countries in the region.
Efforts are continuously being made to give additional impetus and create new opportunities for democratic, economic and every other prosperity of the region by strengthening the existing relations with all neighbours, Prime Minister Abazović emphasised.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti said that the two countries should improve relations in order to increase the economic assets of the two countries.
Abazović and Kurti talked about infrastructure projects that should connect the two countries, above all about the reconstruction or construction of a new road on the section Rožaje-Peć, as well as the construction of a road tunnel that would connect Plav and Dečani.
Furthermore, they agreed that the two countries should strengthen their relations in the context of regional stability and multilateral cooperation.
