Abazović meets with Ambassador Ozan: We promote regional cooperation, peace, stability, economic and infrastructural development

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Montenegro Songül Ozan. Montenegro and Turkey are allies and friends who strive to improve their relations, it was stated at today's meeting.

Turkish Ambassador Ozan conveyed congratulations of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Prime Minister Abazović on his appointment and stressed that Montenegro is Turkey's ally and friend with which it shares a common history and culture, and readiness to work together to improve relations.

Ambassador Ozan pointed out that the Government of Turkey is ready to improve relations with the Government of Montenegro in the coming period, both in the field of economy and investment, and in strengthening cooperation in the field of culture and education.

Prime Minister Abazović thanked for the congratulations and emphasised that Turkey is Montenegro's very important partner and a friendly country with which we strive to achieve cooperation on an even higher level. The Prime Minister added that the Turkish TIKA agency, which has been implementing projects in less developed areas of Montenegro for years, demonstrates good cooperation between two countries.

The Government of Montenegro promotes regional cooperation, peace, stability, economic and infrastructural development, which we believe will lead to an increase in citizens' trust in the institutions, said PM Abazović.
