Abazović meets with PM of Kazakhstan: We have opened a completely new market for Montenegro
We have opened a completely new market for Montenegro. Intensifying cooperation with Kazakhstan is of great importance for Montenegro, said Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović after the meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin in Nur-Sultan.
Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović is paying a visit to Kazakhstan, where he will have several bilateral meetings with top Kazakh officials, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar.
DPM Abazović thanked for the invitation and stated that the relations between the two countries are good and friendly, with a huge potential for improving cooperation, especially economic. Abazović particularly emphasised energy, tourism, education and science cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Abazović stressed that in the previous period, relations between the two countries have greatly intensified, as evidenced by the opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Podgorica, the introduction of a direct flight Podgorica - Nur-Sultan, as well as allowing Kazakh citizens to come and stay in Montenegro without visas. In that context, Abazović said that the expected signing of the Agreement in the field of economic cooperation will be the crown of intensifying cooperation, which is of exceptional importance for both countries.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin pointed out that he was honoured to host Deputy Prime Minister Abazović on Statehood Day, using the opportunity to congratulate him and the citizens of Montenegro on the national holiday. Prime Minister Mamin stated that many citizens of Kazakhstan are interested in Montenegro as a summer and winter tourist destination and that for now they are very satisfied with what they have experienced in Montenegro.
The two officials agreed that it is necessary to continue intensive dialogue at the highest political level, to strengthen trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the field of tourism.
