Abazović: President Osmani's visit confirms excellent relations between the two countries

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, who is paying an official visit to Montenegro. Minister of Economy and Tourism Goran Đurović, Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj, Minister of Human and Minority Rights Fatmir Gjeka, Minister without Portfolio Zoran Miljanić, Deputy Secretary-General of the Government Ilir Harasani, and Prime Minister׳s Foreign Policy Adviser Đorđe Radulović also attended the meeting. After the official meeting, Prime Minister Abazović hosted a luncheon for the President and members of the delegation of the Republic of Kosovo.

Prime Minister said that the official visit of President of Kosovo Osmani is a confirmation of the excellent relations between the two countries, adding that large delegation of the Government of Montenegro reflects the readiness to cooperate in all areas.

The meeting stressed that in order to improve economic cooperation, it is necessary to work on better infrastructure connectivity, such as the construction of new roads Plav-Dečane and Rozaje-Peć.

The officials agreed that the relations between Montenegro and Kosovo are friendly and based on the principles of mutual trust, good neighbourliness and a common European and Euro-Atlantic perspective.
