Abazović takes part in Council of Europe Summit

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović is participating in the fourth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe in Reykjavík.

A historic summit of the Council of Europe takes place today after a long time. Montenegro will present its own results, the Prime Minister said ahead of the Summit.‎

‎Abazović pointed out that Montenegro has sent great help to Ukraine and that it will continue to do so in the future, adding that Montenegro is the country that has the largest number of Ukrainian citizens ‎‎per capita ‎‎in Europe.‎

‎We will also discuss other topics of interest, such as climate change, development of democracy, freedom of the press, Abazović said.‎

‎Furthermore, he said that Montenegro is trying to contribute to the solidarity and is ready to work together with other Member States of the Council of Europe.‎

‎This is also a great opportunity for bilateral meetings. Another indicator that we are all on the right track, Abazović said.‎
