Ana Novaković Đurović was born on 20 December 1985 in Podgorica. She completed her studies at the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica, specializing in International Relations (MSc). Her professional journey began in 2007 at the Center for Development of Non-Governmental Organizations (CRNVO). From 2009 to 2021, she held the position of Executive Director at CRNVO. Since July 2021, she has taken on the role of Political Director at the Civic Movement URA (United Reform Action).
For 12 years, Ana Novaković Đurović has been involved in consulting and training, focusing on non-governmental organizations, public administration, and the business sector. She specializes in topics such as Project Management funded by the European Union, Organizational Development, and Strategic Planning.
As a consultant, she has been engaged in various projects, including the development of strategic plans for organizations dedicated to environmental protection and spatial planning. She has been continuously involved in UNDP projects in Montenegro, as well as collaborations with organizations like WYG and OSCE. Additionally, she has contributed to cross-border cooperation programs between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina under the IPA II framework. Furthermore, she has conducted training sessions for public officials as part of the educational programs organized by the Human Resources Administration.
Ana Novaković Đurović has played an active role in Montenegro's European integration process. Since March 2012, she has been a member of the working group for EU negotiation Chapter 23: Judiciary and Fundamental Rights, where she contributed to the action plan for this chapter. She has managed the implementation of numerous projects (including EU-funded projects) focused on establishing the rule of law and promoting civil society development in Montenegro. She has been a strong advocate for the introduction of whistleblower protection in the country's legal system and has led the development of the first model law on whistleblower protection.
Over the years, she has been committed to fostering collaboration between the government and civil society, serving as Deputy President of the Government Council for Cooperation with NGOs for two mandates (2012-2014). Her dedication and leadership were recognized when she received the Union of Employers' Award for Best Manager in Civil Society in 2018.
Currently, Ana Novaković Đurović is an integral member of the Presidency of Civic Movement URA, contributing her expertise and vision to the party's activities.
