Continuing the collective fight against all forms of crime

Today's coordinated operation to seize weapons in 8 municipalities across Montenegro is evidence of excellent collaboration among security sector agencies, the implementation of Bureau for Operational Coordination's directives and priorities, and a demonstration of readiness to address all security challenges.

We commend the joint efforts of the Sector for Combating Crime of the Police Directorate and the Regional Centre "North," led by Lazar Šćepanović and Haris Đurđević, respectively, along with the assistance of the National Security Agency officers, in conducting the largest weapon seizure operation in decades.

It is particularly gratifying to see that the security system consistently demonstrates that decisive preventive actions, implemented daily, are the best response to ongoing security challenges and the complex legacy in this area.

We continue onward, united as a team, boldly and decisively combating all forms of crime.
