DPM Zogović to officially open the European Individual Chess Championship in Petrovac

Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogović will officially open the European Individual Chess Championship today, 8 November 2024, at 3:00 p.m. This year’s Championship is being held in Montenegro at the Palas Hotel in Petrovac.

The European Individual Chess Championship brings together over 400 competitors from all European countries, making it the most significant event in European chess in 2024.

Deputy Prime Minister Zogović will address the attendees and ceremonially make the first move together with the President of the European Chess Union, Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili.
