Expo 2020 begins

I am very pleased to see the result of our team's hard work from the past few months! All those who in any way participated in the preparation have shown great love for Montenegro and I am very proud to be, personally and professionaly, part of this story. Dubai will host the entire world to showcase the power of bringing together ingenious minds. We will apply the experience we gain over the next six months to Montenegro, bringing tourists from new markets, but also investors from all over the world, said Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović.

Millions of people around the world watched the opening ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai which was held yesterday afternoon. More than a thousand performers took part in the two-hour programme, and the story, which symbolises the importance of uniting people in order to create a better world, was completed by the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Dubai has long been recognised as a place where all differences are erased, and the common value that unites all those who reside there is the desire for a better world.

In the next 182 days, Montenegro will have numerous activities in its Pavilion, but also within the entire Expo 2020 exhibition space, such as organising business forums, presentations, cultural and entertainment programme, presentation of tourist and investment potentials.
