Foundation stone laid for TNA-ENERGIE production facility in Petnjica
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, Minister of Finance Novica Vuković, owner of TNA-ENERGIE Adis Ramdedović, and President of the Municipality of Petnjica Samir Agović laid the foundation stone for the production facility of TNA-ENERGIE in Petnjica.
The factory, which will manufacture parts for diesel electric generators, will initially cover an area of approximately 2,800 square meters, with the potential to expand to 10,000 square meters.
In its first phase, it will employ around 20 workers, with plans to double that number. The investor's expectations are that the facility could eventually employ up to 200 people.
This is great news for Petnjica and the entire northern region of Montenegro, an incredible signal to all investors that it is possible to develop businesses in this part of the country. The arrival of new companies and the creation of jobs is a priority for the Government. This is how we envision progress in the north, Prime Minister Spajić emphasised during the ceremony, which was also attended by Minister of Diaspora Mirsad Azemović.
The factory will be located along the regional road Petnjica–Bioča–Bijelo Polje. The Prime Minister noted that this road is a lifeline for the area and that it will be reconstructed.
The construction and reconstruction of roads will provide a new boost for attracting even more credible investors, who, I am sure, will be encouraged by the example of Mr. Ramdedović—to return and develop their businesses in Montenegro, Spajić concluded.
Adis Ramdedović, who completed his first year of studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica before continuing his education in Germany, has been running his company there since 2017, one of the leading manufacturers of electric generators.
The products from the factory will be exclusively for the German market, and those who work here will have the opportunity to further their skills there. To those who are temporarily working abroad and have businesses there, I want to say that everything we do in Western Europe, we can also do here. I have noticed strong support from both the national and local governments for launching such projects, Ramdedović emphasised.
President of the Municipality of Petnjica Samir Agović praised the cooperation with the Government and described the investment as a true example of patriotism aimed at developing the homeland.
Petnjica has not seen a day like this in a long time—a day when we lay the foundation stone for a business facility, which is a prerequisite for creating new jobs for our youth. This is a remarkable and proud day, Agović remarked.
From the very start of the project, Ramdedović applied German practices, and today, promises were symbolically embedded in the foundation stone. The Government of Montenegro committed to soon begin the reconstruction of the Petnjica–Bioče road, the Municipality of Petnjica pledged to secure a business zone in the area, and the investor vowed to fulfill all plans related to the new factory.
