Gjeloshaj: Montenegro is setting an example of multinational harmony in the Western Balkans and fostering good relations with all its neighbours
During his ongoing working visit to Pristina, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy Nik Gjeloshaj met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Emilija Redžepi, who welcomed him and highlighted the important role of minorities in the good neighbourly relations between the two states.
During the meeting, discussions centered on the vital issue of the position and rights of non-majority communities in Kosovo, as well as the need to include the Montenegrin community as a constitutional category in the Republic of Kosovo.
Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj highlighted the importance of minority groups, affirming, "We aspire to cultivate positive relations with all. Our aim is to uphold peace across the Western Balkans, recognising that with peace comes stability and prosperity for all our nations and people."
Both parties agreed to sustain close communication to bolster joint initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and nurturing a shared European perspective.
