Ibrahimović receives Ambassadors of Brazil and North Macedonia on farewell visits

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Mr. Ervin Ibrahimović, today held farewell meetings with the non-resident Ambassador of Brazil to Montenegro, José Mauro da Fonseca Costa Couto, and the Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia, Zećir Ramčilović.

In the discussion with the Brazilian Ambassador, Ibrahimović expressed gratitude for his active contribution to the development of overall relations between the two countries over the past three years, and wished him success in his future professional endeavors. Noting that the two countries enjoy good and friendly relations, the interlocutors affirmed their commitment to further strengthening political contacts, including the mechanism of bilateral consultations. They discussed further steps towards intensifying bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on the areas of economy, tourism, culture, agriculture, and energy.

At the meeting with Ambassador Ramčilović, it was noted that Montenegro and North Macedonia maintain friendly relations, characterized by intensive contacts at the highest level, to which, as the Minister stated, the Ambassador made a special contribution during his mandate. Both sides emphasized the importance of NATO alliance and shared European and Euro-Atlantic values for further strengthening the stability and prosperity of the entire region, and expressed their commitment to continuing dynamic cooperation in numerous areas of mutual interest.
