Ivanović, Hřebíčková: Strong Czech commitment to Montenegro's European integration

Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović met today with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Montenegro, Janina Hřebíčková.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that Montenegro and the Czech Republic maintain strong and friendly relations, rooted in close ties, and remain committed to enhancing political dialogue and bilateral cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic's support of Montenegro’s EU accession process. Ambassador Hřebíčková reaffirmed her country’s steadfast commitment to Montenegro's European integration and to the alliance between the two nations within NATO.

Discussions also covered the upcoming visit of Czech President Petr Pavel to Montenegro, scheduled for January next year. This visit represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen interstate cooperation in political and economic spheres.

The two officials further exchanged views on current domestic and regional developments.
