Ivanović, Khachaturyan: Advancing political and economic cooperation

On the second day of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović met with President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

President Khachaturyan expressed his gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović for his visit to Armenia, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. During their discussions, both sides reaffirmed the already strong ties while recognizing opportunities for further advancement, particularly in the fields of economy and tourism. President Khachaturyan highlighted that political dialogue and mutual visits contribute significantly to deepening the connections between the states and the people.

Special emphasis was placed on developing business relations and improving tourism connectivity. In this context, in addition to the extended visa-free regime for Armenian citizens and the increased number of flights between the capitals this year, discussions were held regarding the potential establishment of direct year-round air connections.
