Meeting between Šćepanović and Paniklova

The Minister of Science and Technological Development, Prof. Dr. Biljana Šćepanović, met with UNDP Montenegro Resident Representative a.i. Ekaterina Paniklova.

The Ministry and UNDP have established a strong strategic framework for partnership, focusing on two key areas: innovation and smart specialization, as well as advancing development and implementing activities related to green inclusive development. During the meeting, discussions centered around the status of joint activities, particularly in terms of supporting the innovation ecosystem, and future plans for developing program activities.

Ministry representatives highlighted the significant support provided by UNDP in implementing the Smart Specialization Strategy and strengthening innovation infrastructure. They described the cooperation as efficient, highly successful, and adaptive to the ever-evolving trends and needs within the innovation system.

UNDP reassured its commitment to remaining a reliable development partner, expressing the expectation that the development in the field of innovation and smart specialization will continue in the future.
