Montenegrin delegation to attend General Debate of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly

The 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly began in New York on 10 September 2024, while the General Debate, featuring heads of state or government and foreign ministers, will take place from 24 to 30 September 2024. 

Preceding the General Debate, the Summit of the Future will be held on 22 and 23 September, during which the Pact for the Future will be adopted. The high-level meeting on addressing existential threats from rising sea levels will be held on 25 September, followed by the high-level meeting on antimicrobial resistance on 26 September 2024. 

The Montenegrin delegation will be led by Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović, and will include Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović.
