Montenegro and Germany agree cooperation in the field of telemedicine

Montenegro will be the first country in the Western Balkans to establish cooperation in the field of telemedicine with Germany. The cooperation was agreed during the first attendance of the Montenegrin delegation at the World Health Summit in Berlin. The pilot project was agreed by Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović with the representatives of the Robert Koch Institute and the Charité University Hospital.

Telemedicine is one of the basic elements of modern medicine. Through the pilot project that Montenegro will implement with the Robert Koch Institute and the Charité University Hospital, we will try to connect the entire Western Balkans, which will be a step forward on the path to EU membership, said Minister Borovinić Bojović.
