PM Krivokapić and Reis Fejzić attend iftar

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić organised an iftar dinner for Reis of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat Fejzić and his associates.

PM Krivokapić and Reis Fejzić discussed the cooperation between the Islamic Community and the Government of Montenegro, as well as the problems that need to be addressed together. The meeting also discusses the re-establishment of the waqf, the Muslim cemetery and the work of the Madrasa. The need to form a new Joint Commission for the implementation of the Agreement regulating relations of common interest between the Government of Montenegro and the Islamic Community in Montenegro was emphasised.

PM Krivokapić pointed out that Ramadan is a month of grace, peace and forgiveness, and that Montenegro is a country that respects religious freedoms and the rights of all citizens.

Prime Minister's Minority Adviser Maida Gorčević, Director of the Madrasa "Mehmed Fatih" Amer Šukurica, Secretary of the Islamic Community Fuad Čekić and Reis' Legal Adviser Muharem Demirović also attended the iftar.
