PM Krivokapić visits motorway construction site

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, Minister of Capital Investments Mladen Bojanić and Chinese Ambassador Liu Jin visited the motorway construction site and the final works on the priority section of the Smokovac-Mateševo motorway.

The Prime Minister expressed Government's dissatisfaction with the implementation of this project, adding that we did everything we could. I think the time has come to clearly define the responsibility for what someone did or did not do. I urge you once again to work together to ensure what is expected of us, said PM krivokapić.

This Government inherited this project and regardless of what we thought about the way the motorway project was agreed and designed, we did everything we could to complete this project, said Minister Bojanić.

Ambassador Liu Jin agreed with the Prime Minister that we must speed up other works together, because this motorway project is very important. The Ambassador said that he believed that both governments have made great efforts in this process and have shown readiness for friendly cooperation, stressing the importance of the motorway for economic development and regional connectivity and added that the motorway is a good foundation for our future cooperation in several areas.
