PM Krivokapić: We want this economic dialogue to yield results that we will all feel

At the opening of the first United States-Montenegro Economic Dialogue, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić said that he was grateful for the unconditional support that the United States provides to Montenegro and the Western Balkans.

Let me begin by expressing the immense gratitude that all Montenegrin citizens feel, and that is the greater presence of the United States, without which this process certainly cannot be affirmative in terms of Euro-Atlantic integration. What you have done so far in all sectors, and especially in this period of absolute solidarity shown by the whole world, is something that gives us hope that we will be able to overcome all the difficulties we are currently experiencing, said PM Krivokapić.

The Prime Minister points out that the battle for democracy, civil, economic and ecological Montenegro is underway.

This battle continues and the only one who is predictable, safe and worthy of attention is the Government, not because I lead it, but because it is the Government of experts, which is trying to move Montenegro away from its current state to a new state. You all know that this journey always carries great challenges and problems. Everyday we are faced with all possible challenges that we are solving in the best way for all citizens of Montenegro, regardless of what religion or nation they belong to, said Prime Minister Krivokapić.

PM Krivokapić said that this moment was a turning point for all of us in Montenegro.

Prime Minister Krivokapić pointed out that this area can only be revived by strong economic development.

Our need is to make this space different in the new digital environment with creative activities. I am aware that the United States has always been present here, but it would be best for all citizens of Montenegro to prove it through economic investments which will provide the most favourable conditions for all investors, in order for Montenegro to take the path that is inevitable, and that is to be a democratic, civil, Euro-Atlantic and ecological state, said Prime Minister Krivokapić.

The Prime Minister said that all the challenges we face can be overcome through this alliance, which, as he pointed out, is completely clear, open and unambiguous. I want the First Economic Dialogue to yield results that we will all feel, the Prime Minister said.
