PM Krivokapić's message on Easter

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

For two thousand years we have been greeting each other with these words on the most important and joyous holiday, which symbolizes the triumph of life over death.

Everyone, both those who celebrate and those who understand the meaning of this holiday, should rejoice with one another.

So let us rejoice, especially over children and the elderly. Over children – to practice virtues and develop and reward their talents.

Let us rejoice over mutual respect, a new day and new victories. Individual and collective ones.

Let us rejoice because we care for each other. Because we live in peace.

In that joy and light coming from Christ's tomb, we should also express love. Love for one another, generosity and forgiveness. To do good deeds in truth, in order to feel the harmony and beauty of life given to us.

In that spirit, I congratulate all Orthodox believers, the Most Reverend Metropolitan, the bishops and the clergy of our Holy Church and the Metropolitanate, and other dioceses in Montenegro, on the upcoming, greatest Christian holiday - the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

May Montenegro resurrect, with its highest values.
