Poland donates 40,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to Montenegro
A valuable and very important donation of 40 thousand doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is another expression of mutual trust and solidarity of the Republic of Poland towards Montenegro, said Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović at Podgorica Airport.
The Minister of Health expressed special gratitute to Ambassador of Poland to Montenegro Artur Dmochowski, as well as to the Government of Poland for this valuable donation.
Minister Borovinić Bojović once again emphasised how important this donation is and how important it is for citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible and protect themselves and their loved ones from this vicious and unpredictable disease. The Minister also called on citizens to respect protective measures.
Since the establishment of bilateral relations between Poland and Montenegro, we have been trying to build mutual trust. We support Montenegro on its Euro-Atlantic path, said Ambassador Dmochowski.
He expressed satisfaction that the cooperation between the two countries gets stronger year by year.
The period of the pandemic has shown that the fight against COVID-19 is our joint fight and a challenge that we must face together. One for all, and all for one. I am glad that today we can help our friends in the Western Balkans and show our solidarity. I hope that these vaccines will contribute to reducing the negative effects of the pandemic, and that this donation will be another symbol of our friendship and support for Montenegro and its citizens, said Ambassador Dmochowski.
