Prime Minister Milojko Spajić pays an official visit to Brussels
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić is paying an official visit to Brussels, where he will attend the Third Intergovernmental Conference with the EU in 2024, during which three negotiation chapters will be officially closed.
This marks the culmination of an exceptionally successful year for Montenegro in the realm of European integration. Key milestones include the positive IBAR (Interim Benchmarks Assessment Report) for Chapters 23 and 24, the adoption of the Reform Agenda, and the fulfillment of all technical conditions for the closure of Chapter 31.
During his visit, Prime Minister Spajić is scheduled to meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, President of the European Council António Costa, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
In recognition of Montenegro's significant progress on its EU accession path, including the closure of chapters after a seven-year hiatus, Prime Minister Spajić will be presented with the annual award from European Western Balkans, the most influential portal dedicated to European integration in the Western Balkans.
