Prime Minister Spajić on the detention of MP Vuković: State authorities responded promptly, Vuković on his way to Montenegro
Following the detention of Member of Parliament Ivan Vuković in Belgrade, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić responded on the social media platform "X," stating that Montenegrin state authorities promptly communicated with their Serbian counterparts and that MP Vuković is on his way back to Montenegro.
The State of Montenegro will always stand by its citizens in every situation, said Prime Minister Spajić, emphasizing that the relevant Montenegrin authorities promptly communicated with their Serbian counterparts and that the Montenegrin MP is already on his way back to Montenegro.
The Prime Minister also stated that he does not support Montenegrin officials interfering in the internal politics of other countries, as he expects the same approach toward Montenegro.
Furthermore, we do not support the involvement of our officials in the internal politics of other countries—first MP Knežević, and now Vuković—as we expect the same approach toward Montenegro, the Prime Minister's statement concludes.
