Trade and public helalth workshop

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in close collaboration with the Secretariats of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing a Workshop on Trade and Public Health. It is scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 30 September to 4 October 2024. The overall objectives of the Workshop are to improve the capacity of government officials to: (i) analyze policies related to trade and public health and their implications for innovation and access to health technologies; (ii) effectively implement health-related provisions in WTO Agreements; and, (iii) create inter-disciplinary networks of colleagues working on trade and public health issues.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.

The application process consists of the following steps:

1. Interested candidates need to complete and submit the online application form, which is available at: https://wto.formstack.com/forms/2024_trade_and_public_health_workshop, with a note that in addition to the form, it is necessary to submit other supporting documents through the online system.

2. Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, and after completing the online application, they should also send the application with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than 12 July 2024.  and that at the latest, by 19 July 2024. the documentation would be submitted through official diplomatic channels.
