Water management

Considering natural characteristics of Montenegro, spatial and time distribution of water as a resource and mutual interaction of the water management, water protection and protection from waters, the Ministry promotes and supports sustainable water usage based on annual protection of available water resources.

The mission of the Ministry is to provide with this natural resource even the furthest village farm, thereby enabling the possibility for modern agricultural production and prevention of climate change consequences.

Drinking water is still an insufficiently explored natural resource that has a potential of improving the trade balance.
