Citizens of Montenegro must own a visa in order to enter and stay in Ghana. Issuance of visas is under the competence of the Embassy of Ghana in Rome.
Diplomatic Relations Overview
Diplomatic relations between Montenegro and the the Republic of Ghana develop traditionally in the spirit of understanding and friendship.
The Republic of Ghana officially recognized Montenegro on the 20th of September 2012, and the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on the same day.
Mrs. Hilda Quartey Koranteng became the Ambassador of Ghana to Montenegro, with residence in Rome, on the 28th of January 2020, when she presented her credentials to H.E. Milo Đukanović, President of Montenegro. Her predecessor, Mrs. Molly Amin Addo (the first non-residential Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Montenegro), performed her duties from 2016, until 2019.

Data on bilateral exchange of goods and services between Montenegro and Ghana is altogether not overly significant. Highest exchange between Montenegro and Ghana was recorded in 2019, and it amounted to €598,602 (out of which the exports were €594,082€, and the imports were €4,520).
