Visa regime
To enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Montenegrin citizens need a visa that can be obtained at the airport, upon entry into Jordan or can apply online via the following link:

The Embassy of Jordan in Athens, Greece is in charge. The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.
Diplomatic relations
Montenegro and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are developing good and friendly relations.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan recognized Montenegro on May 19th 2010, when diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Montenegro, on a non-resident basis based in Athens, Aheda Sveidata, took office on October 26th 2021.
The Government of Montenegro appointed Ibrahim Naouri as the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, based in Amman and with consular authority over the entire territory of Jordan, on June 26th 2011.
Political contacts
The former President Filip Vujanović, at the invitation of the King of Jordan Abdullah II, paid an official visit to Jordan, from October 27-29th 2013.
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, Milan Roćen, visited Jordan and, on that occasion, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Naser Judeh, and the Minister of Tourism of Jordan, Suzana Afanah, on October 2nd 2010.
The former President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapić, paid a visit to Jordan, from March 12-14th 2010 and, on that occasion, Montenegro was admitted to the Parliamentary Dimension of the Union for the Mediterranean.
Contacts at the political level are also maintained on the sidelines of international gatherings and conferences.
Economic cooperation
The total trade between Montenegro and Jordan in the period from January to November 2021 amounted to 449,468 € (completely related to imports), while in 2020 the trade amounted to 32,992 € (completely related to imports), and in 2019 it amounted to € 66,371 (completely related to imports).
In previous years, no direct investments from Jordan were recorded.
There are no statistical records of tourists coming from Jordan.
