Visa regime

Citizens of Montenegro need a visa to enter the Kingdom of Lesotho. The visa is issued manually by the Immigration Department, and the application is submitted in person or via email address https://visa.applications.immigration@gov.ls at least 5 working days before the planned trip. When the application is approved, an incoming letter (arrival letter) will be entered a visa valid for 21 days. This letter allows the applicant to enter Moshoshoe I Airport or the Maseru Bridge border crossing.

Within 72 hours of entering the country, passengers must report to the Immigration Department for payment of the passport. The price of a visa for one entry is about 50€, while the price for multiple entries is about 100€.

Diplomatic Relations Overview

The Kingdom of Lesotho officially recognized Montenegro on the 23rd of September 2013, on the same thay that the diplomatic relations between our two countries were also established.
