Visa regime

Montenegrin citizens need a visa to enter Syria. A visa can be obtain at the Embassy of Syria in Belgrade, while there is also the possibility of obtaining a visa at the border crossings. The visa fee is 40$ for a stay of up to 30 days.

Diplomatic relations

The Syrian Arab Republic recognized Montenegro's independence in August 2006 and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on October 30th 2008.
