Diplomatic Missions to Montenegro and visa regimes for citizens of Montenegro
Embassy of Uganda in Rome
Visa regime
Montenegrin citizens must have a visa to enter Uganda. It is necessary to apply using the online platform: https://visas.immigration.go.ug
Upon arrival in Uganda, and based on a previously obtained electronic bar code, the visa will be entered directly into the passport by an immigration officer at the border crossing.
If a person owns an "East African Visa" (Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya) he can travel to either of these three countries
Diplomatic Relations
The Republic of Uganda officially recognized Montenegro on the 14th of July 2011, and the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on the same day.
Elizabeth Paula Napeyok has been granted agrément from our side, as a non-residential ambassador of this country to Montenegro. The presentation of her credentials was, initially, to take place during the first half of 2020 - which has been delayed indefinitely (due to the Coronavirus pandemic).
Economic Cooperation / International Trade
Data on the overall exchange of goods and services is practically meaningless, and it amounts to mere thousands of euros. Montenegro and the Republic of Uganda haven't, so far, signed any bilateral agreement.
