Czech Republic*

Holders of travel documents with a valid Schengen visa, a valid visa from the United States, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland, as well as residence permits from those countries, may enter and stay in, or transit through, the territory of Montenegro for up to 30 days, but no longer than the expiration of their visa if the validity period is shorter than 30 days.

Visa regime

Nationals of Czech may enter, pass through the territory of and stay in Montenegro up to 90 days, with a valid travel document, without a visa.

Nationals of Czech may enter, pass through the territory of and stay in Montenegro up to 30 days, without a visa, with a valid identity card issued by the competent authority of Czech. 

Diplomatic relations

The Czech Republic officially recognized Montenegro's independence on June 12, 2006. Diplomatic relations were established on June 15, 2006.

Montenegro covers the Czech Republic on non-resident basis from the Embassy of Montenegro in Vienna, which currently operates at the level of charge d'affaires.
