Panama*

Holders of travel documents with a valid Schengen visa, a valid visa from the United States, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland, as well as residence permits from those countries, may enter and stay in, or transit through, the territory of Montenegro for up to 30 days, but no longer than the expiration of their visa if the validity period is shorter than 30 days.

Visa regime

Nationals of Panama may enter, pass through the territory of and stay in Montenegro up to 90 days, with a valid travel document, without a visa.

Diplomatic relations

The Republic of Panama recognized Montenegro on 25 August 2006. Diplomatic relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Panama were established on 9 May 2008.

The Panama Embassy in Athens covers Montenegro on a non-resident basis, while Montenegro has appointed Dragan Buric as honorary consul to Panama City.
