Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria
Montenegro and Austria have excellent cooperation and dynamic political dialogue. Austria strongly supports Montenegro's European integration, both through the provision of direct technical support and through raising awareness among other EU members about the importance of strengthening enlargement policy.
Diplomatic relations
Austria officially recognized Montenegro on June 12, 2006. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on July 12, 2006.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Austria is Željko Perović (assumed this duty on April 16, 2018).
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Montenegro is Ana Janković (assumed this duty on July 21, 2017).
The Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Eisenstadt is Karl Fink, while Reindl Hubert is the Honorary Consul in Innsbruck.
The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria, based in Budva, is Milan Mrvaljević.
