At today's meeting held between the representatives of the Human Resources Management Authority, HRMA, and the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, the attendees agreed on further steps for strengthening cooperation.
The meeting was held at the premises of the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information and was attended by the Head of HRMA, Svetlana Vuković, Deputy Director in charge of trainings and human resource development within HRMA, Jadranka Đurković, as well as by the President of the Agency's Council, Muhamed Gjokaj and Mirjana Volkov, Manager within the Agency's Objection Department.
Both parties agreed that the Agency, in cooperation with HRMA, should start preparing the accredited program for acquiring key competencies in the area of personal data protection and free access to information, so that certain employees might be able to obtain necessary education in this field. The participants of the accredited program would get certificates of skills acquired.
Having in mind that the existing legislation, monitored by the Agency itself, is being amended, and also the obligations imposed by the General Decree of Personal Data Protection EU-GDPR, which stipulates that the Data Protection Law in Montenegro must be aligned with it, the introduction of the accredited program would be extremely important.
Finally, both institutions agreed to sign the Future Cooperation Agreement in order to improve cooperation and get it even more precise.
