The Internal Auditor Training Program in the Public Sector 31 May 2019

The opening ceremony of the first national Internal Auditor Training Program was held today at the premises of the Human Resources Management Authority, HRMA. The Program was prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and HRMA.

Ms Svetlana Vuković, Head of the HRMA, Ms Ana Krsmanović, Director General of the Directorate for Central Harmonization in the Ministry of Finance, and Ms Jadranka Đurković, Deputy Director in the HRMA, delivered introductory speeches.

After that, trainers in the Program, along with the local coordinators, briefly presented the Program starting as of 5 June.

The official opening marked the beginning of the Internal Auditor Training Program in the public sector for 27 participants.

The aim of this Program is to provide knowledge and skills necessary for acquiring the internal audit certification in public sector. The training includes the following thematic areas: public sector management, basic principles of the national legislation, internal audit standards, skills, techniques and methodology of work of the internal audit in public sector.

The 10-day Internal Auditor Training Program is intended for 27 employees from public sector who met the requirements for attending it, and after they finish the training, an exam will take place.
