Announcement: The 2nd round of the Professional Development Programme for Strategic Planning

The Human Resources Management Authority and the Secretariat-General of the Government are organizing the 2nd round of the Professional Development Programme for Strategic Planning, starting on Monday, 30 September 2019, at 9 a.m. at the premises of the Human Resources Management Authority. The program will be attended by 35 civil servants.

Ms Svetlana Vuković, Head of the Human Resources Management Authority, and Ms Zorka Kordić, Deputy Secretary-General of the Government, will deliver the introductory speech at the ceremony.

The program will be organized from October 2019 to April 2020 for two work days in a month – per each module.

There are six separate parts encompassed by the Program, and those are:

• Module I- Public policies development: Planning system and main needs in Montenegro
• Module II- Analysis of the state of affairs and identification of issues
• Module III-Establishing goals and identification of indicators for measuring progress
• Module IV- Planning reforms, counselling and sharing experience
• Module V-Costs of reform activities and understanding of fiscal reality

• Module VI-Monitoring, reporting and evaluation.

The program is intended for civil servants dealing with drawing up the strategic documents adopted by the Government and who want to improve knowledge and skills in the area of strategic planning, policy development, preparation and monitoring of the implementation of strategic documents.

It represents an accredited educational program, i.e. civil servants will be awarded 6 ECTS credits.
