Public Administration Reform Council to hold session in new composition

The first session of the Public Administration Reform Council in the new composition, chaired by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, will be held Monday, 3 October 2022

The goals of the Public Administration Reform Council are, from a political point of view, to support the implementation of activities related to the organisation of public administration, strengthening the process of public policy management, development of modern and professional civil service system, improvement of local self-government system, digitalisation and eGovernment development, public financial management, improving the quality of service delivery and the business environment, improving the transparency and openness of the administration, strengthening internal and external control of public administration.

The Prime Minister is the Chair of the Council. Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media Marash Dukaj, Minister of Interior Filip Adžić, Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Aleksandar Damjanović, Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović, Minister of European Affairs Jovana Marović, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Admir Adrović, representative of the Association of the municipalities of Montenero Saša Šćekić, Acting Director of the Human Resources Administration Đuro Nikač, Director of the Agency for Free Access to Information and Personal Data Protection Ivan Medojević, NGO representatives Biljana Papović and Milena Muk, and academic community representative Dražen Cerović have been appointed members of the Council.

The ultimate goal of the reform is to provide a high-quality service to citizens, the creation of public administration that will contribute to economic stability, increase the quality of life and competitiveness of the economy, and at the same time meet the conditions for EU membership.
