Abazović, Alshamsi: Multiple possibilities of intensifying cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met today with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Montenegro, H.E. Ms. Nabila Abdelaziz Nasir Saeed Alshamsi.

DPM Abazović said that Montenegro is a country of opportunities, open to investors, and especially to those from the UAE. Abazović said that the UAE is a partner for the Government of Montenegro with which it seeks to further improve cooperation in several different directions.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the United Arab Emirates for the support that the country constantly provides to Montenegro in crisis situations, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two officials agreed that Montenegro and the UAE could explore opportunities to intensify activities and cooperation in the field of economy, especially in the sectors of tourism, energy, education, agriculture and animal husbandry.
