Abazović signs agreement with Western Balkan leaders on mutual recognition of professional qualifications
In the presence of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, a significant moment took place today at the Berlin Process Leaders' Summit as Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, alongside leaders from the Western Balkans, signed the Regional Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications. This agreement specifically pertains to general practice nurses, veterinarians, pharmacists, and midwives within the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA).
The document was signed by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, Prime Minister of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovačevski, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti, and the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto.
