Abazović meets EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy in Brussels
We are pleased with the readiness of the EU to economically and infrastructurally help the development of Montenegro and the Western Balkans, through the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans. This will greatly encourage our development and the development of the entire region, but also contribute to the integration of the region, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said at the meeting with EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Olivér Várhelyi.

Montenegro is the European Union's most reliable partner and remains a leader in the accession process of the Western Balkans. We will deliver the results. We expect the support of the European Union. This is our chance, PM Abazović said following his meeting with Várhelyi.
Commissioner Várhelyi pointed out that he looks forward to working with Prime Minister Abazović on taking the EU-related reforms forward and accelerating the EU accession negotiations.
Abazović said that Montenegro is a good neighbour, trying to always send messages of reconciliation and tolerance as essential values in the Western Balkans.
