All educational institutions in Cetinje to receive security personnel starting February
At the initiative of the Old Royal Capital Cetinje and on the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, the Government of Montenegro has decided, during a telephone session, that all educational institutions in Cetinje will receive physical security personnel starting in February.
Through this measure, the Government of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Old Royal Capital Cetinje, demonstrates its full commitment to supporting the citizens of Cetinje and ensuring that the tragedy that befell the city will never happen again.
This is just one of several measures implemented in response to the tragedy in Cetinje. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, in collaboration with the Clinical Center and the Association of Psychologists of Montenegro and with the support of the Old Royal Capital Cetinje, have engaged teams to provide psychological support to students, teachers, and parents. Additionally, the Ministry of Health, with the support of Telekom, has launched an SOS helpline to provide psychological assistance and support to anyone in need following the tragic event in Cetinje.
