Bečić: This is not opposition focused on improving the state and society

The destructive, anti-democratic, and, in certain aspects, primitive actions of the opposition in recent times have reached their peak.

Due to the obstruction of parliamentary sessions, failure to adopt the Budget and other acts, and the imposition of a temporary financing system, the payment of increased pensions, allowances for newborns, salaries in the Armed Forces, proportional pension adjustments, and much more are at risk.

Even in the most challenging times, when we fought as the opposition under conditions of dictatorship, it never occurred to me to clash with my own citizens in this manner. Citizens must not be held hostage to political frustrations and a complete lack of statesmanship.

This is not opposition work aimed at improving the state and society; this is a confrontation with the citizens of Montenegro. This is not a politics that builds, but a politics that obstructs.

Montenegro deserves responsible political actors, seriousness, stability, and progress.

These are the paths of genuine patriotism and a secure European future, which must not be jeopardized.
