Borovinić Bojović, Brnabić: Joint efforts to overcome crisis caused by coronavirus and improve bilateral relations
The delegation of the Government of Montenegro, headed by Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović, met today with Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, which ended the two-day visit to Serbia.
The meeting discussed the continuation of cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and bilateral relations.
Minister Borovinić Bojović conveyed the greetings of the Montenegrin Prime Minister to Ana Brnabić and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, as well as expressions of gratitude for the assistance so far in the process of vaccination of the population of Montenegro. Minister Borovinić Bojović emphasised the necessity of continuing and deepening cooperation in this area. She stressed Montenegro's commitment to developing bilateral relations with Serbia to the best possible level.
Montenegrin delegation stated that preparations for the summer tourist season are largely underway and that the country strives to provide openness and safety for tourists, especially those from Serbia, so that they can enter without restrictions and tests.
Prime Minister Brnabić said that Serbia had shown in the previous period that it was ready to provide the necessary assistance to its neighbours in the fight against coronavirus, and that the Government of the Republic of Serbia would continue to make efforts to jointly overcome this crisis.
Speaking about bilateral relations, Prime Minister Brnabić pointed out that Serbia's fundamental effort is to make them as close and meaningful as possible, and to intensify the political dialogue.
